The NYSIM Instructor Course is the ideal immersive experience for new and intermediate simulation instructors. Experience simulation from the inside and out. Gain new insights into the teaching and learning process, organize effective debriefings and create novel educational experiences. The course focuses on debriefing skills and simulation design including sessions on Objective Oriented Debriefing, Advanced Debriefing Topics, and Simulation Scenario Design. It is designed to teach participants how to create effective simulation programs, use effective debriefing techniques and avoid ineffective ones, and manage difficult debriefing situations.
