NYSIM Welcomes Dr. Paul Kim and Rory Wallace

Dr. Paul Kim has accepted a position as the Assistant Medical Director of the New York Simulation Center for the Health Sciences (NYSIM). Over the last three years, Paul has developed and taught simulation based courses at the NYU Medical School including the Special Topics in Medicine for the 3-year Pathway and the Interclerkship Intensive as well as in the Pediatric Residency and in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University and medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He stayed on at Mount Sinai Hospital for his Pediatric Residency and completed his Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He is an attending physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Congenital Cardiovascular Care Unit at Tisch Hospital and in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Bellevue Hospital. His interests include medical education and safety, and he also co-chairs the Pediatric Medication Safety and Therapeutics Committee at Tisch.

NYSIM would like to welcome Rory Wallace to our team. Rory has accepted the position of administrative assistant and will be supporting the front desk functions of the center. Rory is a professionally trained classical singer whose activities include performing in concerts, recitals, operas and oratorios throughout the country. He is also a church mu-sician at the Middle Collegiate Church in the East Village and a member of the New York City Master Chorale.
